💻 Booking & Appointments
Q: Where is Headliners NOLA Salon located?
A: Headliners NOLA Salon is located at 4141 Bienville Street, Suite 104, Studio 10 inside Sola Salons in Mid-City New Orleans.
Q: What are your business hours?
A: We are open 7 days a week. Our business hours are Sunday from 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday from 8 AM to 9 PM, Tuesday from 8 AM - 5PM, Wednesday through Friday from 8 AM to 9 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 8 PM. We are in the process of hiring more stylists and shampoo assistants to extend our business hours to be 8 AM - 9 PM.
Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: You can book an appointment through our website or here. Please note that a deposit is required to secure your appointment.
Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment, and it will be applied to your total service balance.
By booking, you authorize us to charge the credit card on file for your deposit. If your card is declined, we will send an invoice—and you'll have until the end of the day to submit payment. If the deposit isn’t received by then, your appointment will be canceled.
Q: What if I’m running late?
A: Please let us know as soon as possible. We offer a 15-minute grace period. After that, you will be charged $1 per minute your late or your appointment may be rescheduled. If your appointment is reschedule, you’ll lose your deposit for that appointment date.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule that appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a forfeited deposit. Multiple cancellations and no-shows may impact your ability to book in the future even if you pay.
Q: Do you accept walk-ins?
A: No, we do not accept walk-ins because we are dedicated to providing each client with personalized and exceptional service. To ensure that we meet your individual loc care needs and maintain our high standards we operate by appointment only. This approach allows us to allocate adequate time and attention to each client, minimizing wait times and ensuring our stylist can deliver the best possible experience.

A: Each of our stylists has their own specialties! Check out our About page and scroll down to Meet the Team to learn more about their expertise and book with the one who best fits your hair goals and your pocketbooks.
Q: Do you offer kids’ appointments?
A: Yes, we offer select services for children. Please check the booking page for availability and reach out to us directly if you have any questions.
Q: Do provide quotes for loc extensions?
A: We do not provide quotes for loc extensions and loc reattachments because these services are highly personalized and depend on various factors, such as the length, density, and condition of your natural hair, as well as the specific look you’re aiming to achieve. To ensure you receive the best possible results, we prefer to assess your hair via a consultation in person or virtually (using Zoom). This way, we can give you a more accurate estimate based on your unique needs and desired outcome.
🧴 Hair Prep & Product Use
Q: Should I come with my hair washed?
A: No need! Every appointment includes our signature 2-step shampoo experience unless otherwise noted. Please remove any buildup or styles (like braids or twists) before arrival. Or you will be charged with an additional takedown fee.
Q: What products do you use?
A: We use and retail products from trusted brands such as Taliah Waajid, Heritage Rosewater, Made for Locs as well as our Loc Care Essential Bundles and Starter Loc Care Essential Bundles, specially curated for moisture, maintenance and scalp health.
Q: Can I purchase products in the salon?
A: Yes! Ask your stylist about products during your visit.

Q: What should I expect during my visit?
A: Expect luxury, comfort and real community. Our salon is a judgment-free zone rooted in professionalism, good music, and top-tier hair care. First-time clients will receive a brief consultation to ensure we’re aligned with your goals.
Q: Is Headliners NOLA LGTBQ+ friendly?
A: Absolutely. We’re a proudly Black-, woman-, and queer-owned salon. Everyone is welcome here.
Q: What COVID or hygience protocols are still in place?
A: We continue to uphold strict cleanliness standaards. Clients are required to wash hands upon entry. Our sinks feature affirming messages and fresh vibes only.
Q: Why do I have to book a consultation?
A: Booking a consultation is a crucial step in ensuring you receive the best possible loc care tailored to your unique needs. Mandatory consultations are for: color, starter locs, loc extensions and reattachments, and Sisterlocks & microlocs installations. This personalized approach allows us to understand your approach allows us to understand your preferences, address any concerns, and create a customized loc care plan. Whether you’re considering a major style change, starting a new loc journey, or seeking advice on maintaining healthy natural hair, a consultation ensures that you and your stylist are on the same page, leading to the best outcomes for your locs.
🧾 Payments, Tipping & Gift Cards
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We are a cashless business. We accept all major credit/debit cards and digital payment methods (like Apple Pay, Cash App, Venmo and Zelle).
Q: Are tips included?
A: Tips are not included in your service price, but they are always appreciated and go directly to your stylist.
Q: Do you offer gift cards?
A: Yes! You can purchase digital or physical gift cards for any amount. It’s perfect gift for birthdays, holidays, or just because.

Q: Can I switch stylists?
A: Yes. We support your right to explore different team members based on your needs. There’s no drama here—just great hair.
Q: How do I become a Headliners client?
A: If you’re new to us, welcome! You’ll be asked to complete a brief consultation form before your first visit to help us understand your hair history and goals. After six appointments in a year, you’ll become an official “Headliner” and receive access to exclusive offers and product perks.
